Well as as i said before my car has yet again fallen victim to city parking.... So my front bumper is destroyed and my back bumper can be replaced cause its kind of beat up from street parking.... Being this has to be done im thinking of going a different route with the repairs maybe a different look.... Now the California Special package for both pieces from Latemodel Restoration Supply is $739.98 and if i go with the Saleen Heritage bodykit thats gonna make the car look like a Parnelli Jones the price is gonna be 1949.99 from Mr. Bodykit and comes with front and rear bumpers side skirts rear panel kit and side and rear window louvers only thing ill have to get is the exhaust as the rear bumper is squared for the special tips.... Now my question is this which one would you guys go with???? Im liking the Saleen only because of the old school style but the california special would be less time in the shop.... What do you guys think about the prices and the ideas???? This project should be done my the end of the summer or ealy september as i have to make my last 2 school payments.... i would go with the cali special cuz you dont want people to confuse or talk shit for not being a a real saleen, plus the cali special would look nice and u can add watever louvers you want to it and add as you go with the styles you like. plus there was nothing special about a cali special mustang or atleast not enough to have people give you the whole "your a fake/poser" and all that noise. ps im not dissing cali special mustangs lol just trying to differ the two kits by how people react when a body kit goes on a car.

I would go with a Cali Special or GT500 clip! Check with Tousley Ford (google it), or try some of the 'new take-off' websites. You might be able to score something for less than that. I love the CaliSpecial bumper... its very clean.

Ok cool!!!! Guess thats the route im gonna go.... Im gonna check those sites Vin and ill also give ebay and craigslist a look see cause you never know whos had an accident and wants to part the car out.... I dunno bout the gt500 kit cause what happenes when someone comes over and i dont have 500 horses to back it up.... Parnelli Jones kit is kind of expensive anyway for this car to be sitting outside....
